Ordering

Add items to your cart from the shop, then hit "Place Order." The button takes you straight to the order form with your cart filled in. Add your name, email, any notes about colors or customization, and submit. I'll get a notification and follow up by email.

Yes, most of the time. Find the model you want on MakerWorld, Printables, or Thingiverse, and share the link in the order notes. I'll look at it and let you know if it's something I can do and what it would cost.

If a model requires a paid file I don't already have, I'll factor that in — or just let you know upfront if it doesn't make financial sense. Most reasonable requests are fine.

For items like the desk name plate and custom name keychain, yes — that's the whole point. Include the text in the notes field. Short names and words work best. I'll let you know if something won't print well at the scale of the item.

I get an email notification right away. I'll reply to confirm the details, discuss any color or customization questions, and give you an estimated timeline. For most items that's a few days. I'll let you know when the print is done and arrange pickup or shipping.

No minimum. If you're ordering a single inexpensive item and want it shipped, keep in mind that postage will likely cost more than the item itself — local pickup is usually the better choice for small orders.

Colors & Materials

I keep dozens of colors on hand across standard PLA, matte PLA, silk PLA, and PETG — the odds are good I have what you're looking for. If I don't, I can usually order it. Just be aware that special orders may affect the price slightly; I'll always confirm availability and any cost difference with you before starting the print.

Special-effect filaments (glow-in-the-dark, color-shifting, galaxy, etc.) aren't always stocked but are available to order — pricing will reflect the higher cost of those materials.

PLA is what most things in the shop are printed in. It's rigid, comes in the most colors, and produces great surface detail. It's not ideal for hot environments (like inside a car in summer) or prolonged outdoor UV exposure.

PETG is more durable and temperature-resistant. Good for things that will get moderate wear, go outside, or live near a heat source. Slightly fewer color options, but still a solid range.

If you're not sure which is right for your use case, mention it in the notes and I'll make a recommendation.

Yes. The printer supports automatic filament changes mid-print, which is how most multi-color models in the shop and collections are done — no assembly, just a single print that changes colors at the right layers. Most of the Smoggy3D models are designed this way. If you want multi-color on a specific item, mention it in your notes and I'll let you know if the model supports it.

Payment & Shipping

No payment is collected through this website. After I confirm your order, I'll send you the total and payment options:

  • Venmo — @BRossow
  • PayPal — @BRossow
  • Cash App — $BrentRossow
  • Zelle — ask me for the number
  • Cash in person at pickup

For shipped orders, I generally ask for payment before I ship. Local pickup you can pay on arrival if you prefer.

Yes, I ship — usually USPS. I don't mark up shipping; I add the actual postage cost. Small items typically ship for $4–6. Larger items can be more. I'll give you an estimate before you commit. Local pickup is always free.

Let me know and send a photo. I'll reprint it. I'd rather do that than have someone keep something they're not happy with. I try to catch issues before they go out, but that doesn't always happen.

Timelines

Small items (keychains, small fidgets) can take under an hour. Medium items are typically 2–4 hours. Large items or batches can be 6+ hours. I'll give you a realistic estimate when I confirm your order.

For most items: 2–5 days from when I confirm. I print in the evenings and have a small queue. If you need something for a specific date, mention it — I'll tell you if I can make it work.

Still have a question?

Use the notes field on the order form, or just ask when you submit your order. I read everything and respond promptly.
